Good Company premiered at the 34th Annual New Works Festival at the Youth Performing Arts School in Louisville, Kentucky on March 13th, 2009.  An existentialist look at heartbreak and self-worth, the play chronicles an archetypal character by the name of Magenta, who represents the human element.  Aura and Caligo, the positive and negative subconscious of Magenta.  And Blue, Magenta's lover who is the personification of loss and heartbreak (who was written in the script to be played by an actor but used only as voice over in the actual production).  The play is told through the mind of Magenta and as we travel deeper into her subconscious mind, the powers at be, Aura and Caligo, take on the narration and begin to overpower Magenta's conscious being.  Finally, Magenta breaks free of her mind and speaks out loud of her personal growth and rebirth and her experiences and from that, she is able to move forward.

The original cast as follows:
Magenta: Grace Dumesnil
Aura: Christine Noah
Caligo: Casandre Medel
Blue (voice): Joseph Heyworth
Park People: Samantha Watzek, Miranda Eubank, Madeline Ford, Romina Krosnyak, Lili Kinman, Dzemila Bilanovic.
