Doubt opened on April 23rd, 2010 at the Victor Jory Theatre at Actors Theatre of Louisville. Doubt takes place at St. Nicholas, a Catholic parish and grade school in the Bronx in 1964. Sister Aloysius, the school’s strong-minded principal, suspects the charismatic Father Flynn of improper relations with one of the school’s male students. What should she do? An examination of the line between gossip and truth, discipline and compassion, certainty and . . . DOUBT.
